Hey friends! We changed it up and took a break from taking pictures in our store - and headed out to the beautiful Arizona desert! 🏜 Let me tell you...these images are killer and we CANNOT WAIT to share!
As you may know, we recently took ownership of Adore Bridal in January 2021 - and our flagship store, Adore Bridal, is in Illinois! What goes along with this arrangement that our employees are from ALL over the country 😂 Janice, owner of Adore and Carissa, Marketing Coordinator for both stores, are in Illinois - they were out in The Valley for a week doing #allthethings for the store. One of our remote #sbbsquad members Cori, from Michigan, is also a photographer (Cori B Photography), so when she came out to visit - we jumped at the opportunity to have her take stunning photos of our dresses! We were able to show her the breathtaking Arizona landscape AND get these amazing photos! Janice, Carissa & Cori all braved the heat & sun, they fluffed trains, helped Tess change dresses, carry backpacks of supplies and keep everyone hydrated 😆
And who better than to help us out modeling than our own #sbbsquad member & bridal consultant, Tess! She taught all of us what a jumping cactus is (and to stay away from them 😂), what noises to listen for when you're in the desert and what to do & not do if you don't want to get poked 🌵
So, without further ado, let's introduce you to a few of our favorite dresses - these gowns are new arrivals, styles our brides are loving...or just dresses with that WOW factor 🙌
This Sincerity Bridal gown, Abiel, is an effortless A-Line gown featuring a deep V-Neck illusion bodice and Venice lace appliqués. Her tulle skirt has that perfect, soft flow so many brides are looking for!
We love this gown, and our brides love it too! We get so many comments about how comfortable the fabric is while it's on, and it has some frolic-in-the-fields vibes!
This romantic fit-and-flare gown, Janice by Justin Alexander has the softest floral lace throughout her illusion bodice! The fit-and-flare Mikado skirt is sleek and smooth. It's a touch of sexy with the plunging V-neck and keyhole back...and the cathedral length train will truly take your breath away!
Can you see the shine and structure in that Mikado skirt?! 😍 The mountain landscape in the background is such a great contrast with this sleek & beautiful dress.
This beautiful boho gown, Posie by La Perle is an absolute dream - with a soft, nude inner lining under ivory lace, you'll feel amazing! Her off the shoulder straps and unique geometric lace lend a beautiful nod to all of those bohemian vibes!
Tess is an absolute trooper! This was the last of the dresses we photographed, and she had been changing dresses for a few hours by this time. You would never know looking at Tess' gorgeous face! Her hair & make-up are still on point and she's just bringin' it! And just LOOK at the lace on those off-the-shoulder sleeves!
Talk about bringing the sass! This dress was Tess' favorite of all of them! It has bling, detail and it's just....fancy! Can you tell she feels the most confident and "herself" in this one?!
The definition of a bohemian desert dress...is Prim by La Perle! Her sleeves and skirt are made in a cool, ivory chiffon fabric with trendy, geometric side cut-outs. The floral lace is lends beautifully to nature an would be amazing for any outdoor wedding!
So...Carissa is actually photoshopped out of that image ⬆️😂 It was kind of a "3-2-1-run!" with the train situation. But how powerful & amazing is this final photo! The image below shows those fun side cut-outs!
So...these Midwesterners 🌽 learned a few things during this photoshoot...
1) Jumping cactus are a thing (who knew?!)
2) TOUCH NOTHING 😂 in the desert
3) The Arizona landscape is tough, but absolutely breathtaking 🏜
4) 96 degrees in Arizona feels a whole lot different than it does in the humid Midwest! 😎
