Veils! Veils! Veils!
Ok, so bridal veils are one of the oldest wedding traditions - It dates back to ancient times when people “wrapped brides from head to toe to represent the delivery of a modest and untouched maiden.” Added benefits: The veil also “hid her away from evil spirits who might want to thwart her happiness.”⠀
But NOW - brides almost see it as a right of passage they get to wear on their wedding day!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
DO I HAVE TO WEAR A VEIL?! Nope! It’s all personal preference. We have brides who want long, cathedral length veils - and others who just don’t feel like themself in one.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .
Bottom line: Veils started off weird, now they’re pretty and personal preference. You do you girl! 💃🏻
Now let's take a look at the different styles of veils. It's a good idea to try on a couple different lengths and styles with your dress, once you found the dress you adore!
