What was your styling inspiration or wedding day vibe you were going for? What inspired you to choose this?

We wanted our wedding day to have a sophisticated vintage elegance. We chose all black linens and candles and accented them with bright pink and red florals. Our reception was held on the 10th floor of a historic ballroom with a grand staircase and ornate gold elevators. Our photographer did an absolutely amazing job capturing the ambiance of the evening.

Tell us about a special memory from your wedding day, something that will alway stand out in your mind ❤️

My husband’s best man gave an absolutely hilarious speech at the reception. The entire room was almost in tears throughout the entire thing from laughing so hard. Seeing both sides of our family bonding over how funny he was and the stories he shared is a memory we’ll always treasure.

What do you admire most about your new spouse?

My husband is the most devoted and patient man I know. I have always admired his ability to set a goal and work towards it, in spite of any setbacks. We met in Texas (where he lived) through family friends while I was already living in Arizona. He eventually moved here to start dating me and begin a new career. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that, and I’m beyond grateful to spend my life with someone so brave and determined.

Is there anything else you want people to know about your love story? A fun proposal, something crazy that happened on your wedding day,or  a sentimental memory?

We didn’t do a formal “going away” with guests. We said goodbye to most of them throughout the reception and then did some privately staged going away photos in the venue’s beautiful elevator with our photographer. Those were some of my favorite pictures from the whole day and I’m so glad we set aside that moment for us towards the end instead of rushing through a big exit.

What was your experience like with Adore Bridal?

I absolutely loved my experience shopping at AZ Adore Bridal. The consultants were all so helpful and supportive. I felt completely confident in my final decision, even though it was my very first bridal appointment. Having the opportunity to text with my consultant before the appointment to share my inspiration and give feedback on a few of her gown ideas was so helpful!

Are there any vendors that stood out to you as top notch? Who and Why?

Our photographer was absolutely phenomenal. She captured the darker tones and shadows of our venue and decor while still highlighting the warm joyful feeling that was present throughout the entire event.
